Armin Haghi is an expert on developing data-driven predictive models. His research focus lies in privacy-preserving algorithms based on combining machine learning with cryptography, with applications in patient data and eHealth solutions, as well as policy aspects of decentralised machine learning. He is co-founder of H12E.ai, an AI solutions firm, and advisor on data and algorithms to multiple companies. His prior roles include data science and product management positions at Google and Teralytics, in Berlin and Zurich, where he developed predictive solutions that extract knowledge from large quantities of data for decision support systems. Armin holds a Masters degree in Management Science & Engineering with a focus on data science and energy engineering from Stanford University, and studied economics, statistics and law at the University of St.Gallen and Columbia University prior to that. Armin joined the ViVI Scientific Think Tank in 2019 and is involved with real-time data analytics and geo-mapping of disease outcomes.
